    Not saying this is what happened but, i know a guy that is from the US but lived in Russia for 20+ years. He now speaks with a Russian accent even when speaking English. So much time speaking Russia all the time affected how he speaks.

    similar experience, as a child i moved around in the states a lot, but for a little over half a year I loved in Texas but when I was REALLY young about 4 I think. so I developed a southern accent. fast forward to current day I live in Oklahoma and my southern accent has come back in FULL SWING it's so silly
